Great but not the same as the pair I already have in the heal area. Current pair heal is not leather.I buy a pair of these every year. Always bought in the store. This pair ran small. They stretched out now any tighter I would have returned them. Love the shoes though.I've only had these shoes for about 2 days so I can't comment on how well they will wear and last. This is my second pair of OluKai's and I love the brand and overall style. They are extremely comfortable and are dressy enough to wear with jeans and a dress shirt. Too casual for a suit. My only negative comment about this particular shoe is the color is off. I ordered the Storm Gray and in the picture it in fact looks gray however in person they are much closer to a dark brown. The only time they look remotely gray is in bright sunlight otherwise they are a closer to brown. My other negative is the sizing but I knew this going into this shoe. I'm normally a size 11 however in OluKai I wear a size 10.5 and even with the 10.5, I have to wear socks. They are a little loose barefoot. I knew his however based on my other OluKai's so I ordered one size down. Overall a great shoe at a great price. If I could give a 4.5 based on color I would but the overall style and comfort made me round up to 5 stars.My husband loves these shoes!!!!! Lasted 8 years and the toe box started to pull away, time for a new pair. Only complaint is that storm grey is not a grey color at all. So exchanging for the same dark brown he had before. I did verify with the company that what came in the box is the storm grey, as I thought maybe the wrong shoes got placed in the box.I was looking for women's shoes that had a wider toe box instead of the tapered one so popular on women's moccasin type shoes. I whined to the clerk in the men's department that there wasn't a decent shoe when he showed me these. Since they are European sizes I tried my size and the fit was beyond awesome and so comfortable. I bought the pair in the store and and went to Amazon to find different colors at a lower price too. Best shoe ever. If you have long toes, bad arches whatever you can't go wrong on these. So comfortable. Because it is a "man" shoe the support is so much better than the crappy old lady looking shoes in womensI absolutely love this brand - not for the name - but for the quality and comfort. It all started with the slippers. I suffer from bad foot neuropathy and need a combination of having something on my feet to give me a "secure and comfortable" feeling but I can't have things too rigid because that hurts my feet as well - creating rub spots etc. The models with the larger toe box are perfect! I bought 2 pairs of these Men's Moloa's and they are like the outdoor version of my slippers. They have the elastic on the tongue so it is easier to get on, the gel insoles are AWESOME and the texture and materials in and out make everything feel great. Great product.my hubby really likes his new shoes!These are great shoes, I wear them all day at my standing desk at work.The run standard width in the back and middle and slightly wide in the front, which gives your toes some room, which I like. I listed them "as expected" for width since I had tried them on in a store (in another color than the one I wanted) and knew to expect this, but somewhat wide would be more accurate for the front part of the shoe (I find this comfortable and less constraining).You can also fold the heel portion down (this is by design) and wear them as slip-ons --- great if you often take your shoes off while at your desk and need to pop them back on quickly to go get a coffee etc...I would definitely buy another pair in the future
